About Us
MEDSTER was established in 2012 in Ankara, Türkiye, in a modest 50 m² area. Thanks to dedicated and determined efforts, our company has grown steadily over the years, and today, our production facility spans 4,200 m². Not stopping there, MEDSTER expanded beyond national borders and established a 5,000 m² factory in the Czech Republic. With a total production area of 9,200 m², we have achieved an annual production capacity of 6 million m². This increased capacity has positioned MEDSTER as a leading force in Türkiye’s medical sterilization sector.
We have become the first brand that comes to mind when it comes to sterilization packaging products, wrapping materials, sterilization control products, biological indicators, sealing machines, and sterilizer devices. Backed by our dominant presence in the Turkish market, we have also made a significant impact globally by exporting to 85 countries across all continents.

We proudly showcase our international strength by participating in major exhibitions every year, including Medica – Düsseldorf / Germany, Arab Health – Dubai / U.A.E., FIME Show – Miami / U.S.A., Expomed Eurasia – Istanbul / TURKEY, Japan Health – Osaka / JAPAN, and ExpoMed Hospitalar – New Mexico / MEXICO. In addition, our Quality Department, which closely oversees every detail of the production process, and our active R&D efforts continue in line with market demands and the needs of our customers. This allows us to not only meet current expectations but also to expand our product portfolio with new innovations.
MEDSTER is recognized as one of Türkiye’s pioneers in the field of sustainability, with clearly defined and actively monitored sustainability targets. Our environmental efforts focus on waste reduction, recycling, carbon footprint monitoring, energy efficiency, and the use of renewable energy. Socially, we are committed to employee health and safety, equal opportunities, community engagement, and continuous employee development. From a governance perspective, we emphasize ethical sourcing, the fight against modern slavery, corporate transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, and data security. These priorities guide our long-term strategy toward building a more responsible and sustainable future.
MEDSTER crowned its strong growth momentum with the prestigious “Türkiye’s Top 100 Fast Growing Companies” award granted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) for the period of 2020–2021. Not stopping there, the company was also recognized among the “Top 100 Companies in the Sector” by the Exporters’ Association between 2020–2022. In 2024, MEDSTER achieved an impressive 80% growth, marking a significant milestone on a global scale. As a result of these remarkable achievements, our founder, Aysu Öztürk Demir, was honoured with the “Best Woman Entrepreneur” award, proudly holding the TSE-K645 “Women Entrepreneur Standard” certification—an extraordinary accomplishment that sets a high standard of excellence.
MEDSTER closely monitors all legal regulations and international requirements related to its products and integrates them into its system. Certified with ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management System for Medical Devices, we ensure quality throughout the entire product lifecycle. This system is one of the key foundations of our goal to continuously enhance customer satisfaction.
At MEDSTER, we are building a future rooted in sustainability, innovation, and equality. Through our government-supported Solar Energy System (GES) Project, we are working to meet all our factory’s electricity needs with clean solar power, contributing any excess energy back to the national grid. This step brings us closer to our long-term goal of zero carbon emissions.
We hold the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification and actively reduce our environmental footprint. Wastepaper and film from production are collected and sent to cement factories to be used as fuel. Likewise, leftover packaging materials such as pallets and cardboard are repurposed as energy sources, helping preserve natural resources. Additionally, we aim to convert our entire company vehicle fleet to electric cars.
MEDSTER strictly complies with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and maintains a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. We take necessary measures across our operations and supply chains to ensure ethical labour practices and uphold human rights at every level of our business.
At the core of our company culture is a strong commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment. Over 60% of our workforce is made up of women. We offer our female employees supportive policies, including special rights during menstrual periods, and we continue to promote a fair and respectful workplace for all. We provide full support to all our employees—especially our female team members—who wish to continue or resume their educational journey.
At MEDSTER, we believe that caring for the planet and supporting people go hand in hand. Our actions today are shaping a better, more responsible tomorrow.
